Oil Free Houmous

Houmous is life, am I right? It can be added to anything and everything. This quick and simple humous recipe is ready in minutes and super fluffy, and n oil added. Serve up with freshly cut vegetables for a party or add a dollop to your dinner for extra yumminess! 



- 1 x 400g Tin Chickpeas

- 100g Aquafaba

(chickpea brine )

- 80g Tahini 

- Juice of Half a Lemon

- 1 - 2 Cloves Fresh Garlic

- ½ tsp Cumin Powder

- Pinch sea salt



- Start by opening the can of chickpeas and drain. Ensuring you reserve the liquid from the can (aquafaba) as this is going to be used to make our houmous supper fluffy! 

- Next, rinse the chickpeas and place into blender. Add all remaining ingredients, including the chickpea brine (aquafaba).

- Blend for few minutes at a time, scraping down sides as necessary. Continuously blend until completely smooth texture has been reached! Enjoy with fresh cut up red pepper or use as spread in sandwich!
